The Death Of Man Again

The underpainting to The Death Of Man is complete. I took extra care over this, which is practically an homage to Tamara de Lempicka.

Wow, Mark! This is a powerful work. You are wonderfully gifted with the ability to express a wide range of human emotions in both a symbolic and direct way. I love this painting.

Excellent work, Mark! It's very engaging and thought provoking... one that I would love to get in front of sometime.

Thanks for the comments. I'm pleased with this one, especially as it only took two days and is a reasonalby hefty 50x50cm. I'll be glazing the lot to add more depth of colour. The flesh is just light red, black and white, so it shows what can be done with just one earth red.
