The Hanging Of Judas Iscariot 3

I finished The Hanging Of Judas Iscariot today. This photo lacks a few tiny details not present in the final version. Eagle eyes will note many of the extra details that weren't in the underpainting. The window of heaven in the sky is now blue too (actually, it's a strong turquoise but looks very blue in that red environment).

Now now now! I'll be setting up my solo exhibition tomorrow with the launch the day after. This is all very exciting. I need to do lots of small jobs too including scanning some paintings and transferring some new drawing details to another picture but I'm feeling rather tired, chaotic, scribbly and emotional and I don't like it so I'll rest for a bit then seal myself away to calm down. With luck I can do those little jobs tonight.

Do you sell digital copies of your art?

Do you sell your art in digital form?

Do you mean to download or as printed reproductions? I sell reproductions of some oil paintings, and prints of my computer artwork. There are also free downloads of montages of my art as Windows backdrops.

I had thought about selling art as downloads but was unsure of the value of these and whether it was worth implementing... it would be a lot of work to add the (large!) quantity of paintings and I'm not sure if I'd sell any...

What are your thoughts?

Mark- www.istockphoto.com and other such sites. I often look for images for presentations and art carries more emotion than photos usually. You get paid when people download the image. This might be a good way to try out the idea.

I would like to buy a print of The Hanging of Judas Iscariot. Is that available?

I like that idea Rob. I'll research the sort of rates and licences that other artists use.

Yes a print of this work is available. I sell lifesize matt photographic reproductions in editions of 12. This painting would be a 16x12 print and cost £40, which includes postage to most countries. Payment by PayPal would probably be easiest. Email me with your mailing address and I'll prepare a print (my email address is on my profile here and/or my website).
