31st Century Anatomy

This morning I've been addressing the face on 31st Century crucifiction. Six months after finishing the painting the jaw of the focal figure finally bothered me enough for me to carefully colour match and improve it. This face was always going to be tough because I didn't have an image to copy from, just a mish mash of different blurry ones. It's only now with a little bit more knowledge of faces that I can see other anatomical inconsistencies, which will again remain a secret between me and the critics!
