Jewel

A quick update to show you the silver-work I've made for my "reliquary", which is just about finished now. The next step is to photograph it and add it to my website. This is silver with a red sapphire and a big champagne cubic zirconium gemstone.

To my mind, those sweeping curves and pointy bits (for which I am sure there are technical terms...) remind me of Klingon design. Qa'Pla!

Not sure if these are tentacles or horns or thorns or curls. I just liked the idea. Come to think of it the Klingons were good at design although rather dark and red. I'd like a room designed in neo-Klingon ashen greys and blues.

Mark- Is there anything you can't do?! I love it- it's beautiful.

Pamo took the words out of my mouth... What a cool design. I look forward to seeing it in context with the rest of the piece.

It's better than the first one I made but if I made another it would be better, I think! Isn't that always the way? Thanks for the comments folks.
