Tick

I'm very weepy after finishing Flowers for Algernon. What a brilliant book. I'm inspired to write something, if only, like Charlie, I had the time.

A many simple jobs today and I began to list them but stopped.

My daily regime now involves a walk or cycle ride for exercise, 2 cups of coffee per day, 4 cups of green or white tea, and some mental training which today was reading a page of Spanish and Swedish, which of course I couldn't manage at all, but enjoyed trying. I wish I'd done this years ago instead of now. The downside to this book is that I can see the huge amount I've lost over the past 5 years. I now sleep for exactly 8 hours each night and try to regulate my circadian rhythms with lighting. That appears to work.
